Geoffrey Pierini
Founder/CEO
Mr. Pierini's background in health care infrastructure construction spans two decades, having managed over $100 million in projects. Having epitomized great strength in problem solving and logistics, and with firm additional focus on pre-planning and risk management, Mr. Pierini continues to drive the success and growth of the company. Mr. Pierini has an extensive background in the pre-installation construction phase of diagnostic and surgical device installations across a broad range of platforms and manufacturers. Mr. Pierini has cultivated a specialized knowledge of the regulatory environments overseeing the healthcare and medical device industries. From project conception to completion, Mr. Pierini brings invaluable skill and resources to each project Excalibur Group assumes.

Laura Copeland
Business Manager
Laura has over fifteen years experience in the medical imaging field. Before coming to Excalibur Group in 2005, she was the CEO of an MRI center and two modality centers. Laura has various roles at Excalibur Group; not only is she the head of the human resource department, but she also handles all business-related activities. Laura is in charge of the account receivables, employee insurance information, and regulation & compliance issues. She works closely with the accounting and communications department to make sure all information is not only accurate, but is distributed to stakeholders in a timely fashion. Laura's attention to detail, vast business background and diverse management skills make her a major asset to Excalibur Group.

George Dale
Director of Project Management
With over thirty years of experience in the construction industry, George has accumulated a lifetime of knowledge across the trade disciplines. Mr. Dale was founder and operator of a mid-sized custom millwork company that provided custom products to schools, hospitals, medical offices, dental offices, dialysis centers, commercial office buildings, banks, retail operations and numerous imaging centers. Excalibur Group acquired George company in 2008. In addition to operating Excalibur Group's in-house millwork shop and metal fabrication shop, George works closely with project managers to ensure the success of each project by coordinating timelines and material placement with project stakeholders. George has cultivated an expertise in space planning, designing, drafting, fabricating specialty millwork and cabinetry. George has coordinated over $30 million in projects for clients including Rutgers University, JFK Hospital, Heller Park and the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles.

Greg Kashuda
Senior Project Manager
For 16 years prior to coming to Excalibur Group, Greg was with Prime Contracting Corp./Phoenix Medical Construction. Starting as Assistant to the VP, then promoted to Site Supervisor after his second year and finally to Senior Project Manager after six years with the company, Greg was a key player in the medical construction field. His jobs were consistently delivered to the customer ahead of schedule, as well as under budget. Prior, Greg was in the home building industry for 25 years on the land development side, and was also Manager of Land Development for two large retirement community builders in south and central New Jersey. His vast and diverse background has enabled Greg to bring the level of professionalism and leadership Excalibur Group values among its employees.

Scott Fertig, P.E.
Director of Engineering
Holding professional licenses in New York and New Jersey, Scott possesses over 20 years of hands on experience as a consulting engineer and project manager. He has faced virtually every challenge and has expertly designed MEP systems at some of the nation's top medical facilities, including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Staten Island University Hospital and Richmond University Medical Center. Scott's expertise has been called upon by various state, local and federal agencies, including discerning clients such as the New York City Housing Authority, the New York Power Authority and the Port Authority of NY/NJ. Scott's responsibilities range from development of scope with clients to coordinating design with hospital administration and architects to overseeing installation, and his system installation endeavors total over $17 million in value. For Scott, there's nothing better than the challenge of finding the ideal system solution and turning it into an efficient and highly effective reality.

Kathryn Mackevich
Project Engineer
A graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with a Master of Science degree in Construction Management, Kathryn is a highly experienced professional with numerous major design and construction projects to her credit. Possessing impeccable managerial skills and medical device installation knowledge, she has worked on such projects as the complete renovation of the Union Imaging Center in Union, NJ, where she was responsible for such duties as the pricing and ordering of all mechanical equipment and the scheduling of day and night crews for HVAC installations. She also was central to the installations performed at the Carroll County Medical Office Building in Westminster, MD. During this 1.1 million dollar medical imaging undertaking, Kathryn was assigned vital duties such as receiving and organizing sub-contractor bids. Kathryn has a thorough understanding of what each job entails, and is driven to ensure that each job is a success.
